Wintering workshop series
In this series, we will tread t'ward the coming winter with poetry and pottery and friends.
We will use the mediums of clay and the written and spoken word to explore stories of wintering. Each session will have a different theme somehow threaded to winter and its symbols.
Here you will find a space of safety, warmth, exploration, comfort and challenge. You will be invited to reflect, share, build, write, and be together by a fire as the frost edges in.
This is a series of 6 workshops leading up to the end of the year. There will be an intentional narrative arc (informed by the hero's journey) to the whole series, however each individual workshop will also stand alone.
There are five ticket options for this series. I encourage you to pay for the ticket that feels right for you. I would like to cover expenses and give an offering to the magical space of We Make Our Way, so contribute what you're able and know it will be received by loving and grateful hands. If £8 still feels like a stretch, but you feel called to come, please email me!!
Please note, the idea of these workshops is not to come away each time with a finished clay piece. Clay will be used as a medium of exploration, sometimes used to build something in particular and other times used as a process in of itself. However, you may have anything you make fired, to pay for costs of two firings and glazing I will suggest a donation of £3-£5, depending on size.
